JBL ProPond All Seasons Sticks 7.5kg is a premium fish food carefully developed to meet the nutritional needs of your aquarium fish,and even give them a little extra. Extensive research has gone into creating a recipe with an optimal protein-to-fat ratio, supporting healthy growth, vitality, and colour development. JBL uses only the highest quality ingredients. Their fish protein comes exclusively from offcuts and trimmings of fillets originally intended for human consumption, guided by the motto: “The large fillet for humans and the small fillet for our fish.” Unlike many competing foods, JBL avoids cheap fish meal entirely. This not only improves nutritional quality but also keeps phosphate levels significantly lower, helping to reduce unwanted algae growth. The food provides a balanced diet for healthy pond fish throughout the year, ideally at water temperatures between 10–25 °C. It features a complete formula with a 3:1 protein to fat ratio and includes: wheat, salmon, shrimps, spinach, and spirulina for strong, vibrant, and resilient fish. The floating sticks contain 24% protein, 7% fat, 6% crude fibre, and 6% crude ash. Without any preservatives. For freshness and longevity, the food comes in a resealable, airtight, waterproof, and lightproof bag. The mono-material packaging is fully recyclable without separation. The JBL PROPOND ALL SEASONS range offers: sticks, granulates, and flakes, all with very similar compositions, allowing you to choose whichever form you prefer. Note that flakes cannot be used with the JBL PROPOND AUTOFOOD automatic feeder. The term “natural energy-optimised nutrition” refers to the carefully balanced protein-to-fat ratio. While fish naturally require different ratios depending on the season (about 2:1 in winter and 4:1 in summer), other factors such as the size, age, and specific dietary purpose (e.g., growth formulas) also play an important role.
