Jennifer Willis (MSET, ATS, CTeach) Jenny is a Health and Social Care Lecturer and Advanced Quality Practitioner at Heart of Worcestershire College. Jenny has taught in adult and further education for 19 years, and is currently undertaking an MA in Education for a Sustainable Environment. Niki Wilson Niki has been working in education for over 19 years teaching level 2 and level 3 health and social care and child development, alongside subject lead responsibility. She has a great understanding of the needs of her students which comes across in her writing. Vicki Johnston Vicki Johnston is an experienced teacher of Biology, and Health and Social Care at Level 2 and Level 3. She has taught in schools and FE colleges since 2002. Additionally, Vicki is an accomplished senior examiner, involved in both the writing and marking of assessments. About the qualification Pearson’s BTEC Level 3 National in Health and Social Care is a new qualification designed for students aged 16 to 19, for first teaching in September 2025. This qualification aims to equip students with the essential knowledge, understanding, and skills necessary for progression to undergraduate study in health and social care fields. The qualification is 360 GLH, which is equivalent to one A Level. These can be taken alongside A Levels or other AAQ qualifications, to create a balanced programme of study.
