There aren’t many fish that do not eat brineshrimp and so its very popular with fish breeders. Frozen brineshrimp is a firm favourite with seahorse and clownfish breeders along with many more tropical and marine fish species. Feeding Gamma Brineshrimp 100g The way we use frozen gamma brine shrimp to feed our livestock is to thaw out the days’ supply overnight in the fridge. We do of course add vitamins and garlic to Gamma Brineshrimp 100g and in fact all frozen foods that we use. The vitamins make a world of difference to the fishes long term health and vitality as well as colour. Garlic added to the food has a huge effect on the fish’s ability to fight off parasites. The garlic makes its way into the fish’s mucus and the parasites such as whitespot do not like the smell or the taste and therefore don’t infect. Feeding Frozen Gamma Brine shrimp 100g at home The best way to use Gamma Brine shrimp 100g fish food is to get a sealable contain and place enough food for three to four days in it. Add the vitamins and garlic and allow it to both thaw and soak up the additives in the fridge. The following day the food is ready to feed loaded with vitamins and garlic. You can feed from this batch daily as long as its returned to the fridge. Remember that Gamma Brine shrimp 100g is only a great part of a heather balanced. Addition foods such as algae, flakes or pellets are important for a varied and balanced diet.
